This Chanel Croc Biarritz is an oversized tote made of black crocodile skin. It’s literally huge (in size & price). With its exorbitant price tag and the limited quantity made, this Chanel croc tote is definitely an exclusivity.



Forbes reports that there are three of these in Chanel NYC, two in Chanel LA, and three more wandering around select Neiman Marcus locations. There is a simply understated external zip pocket with a CC silver pull and dividers on the inside. Not sure if the bag can be found anywhere now

Even with the recent financial collapse in the market, fashion blog Nitrolicious is saying that Chanel plans to increase its classic bags’ prices by as much as 20% come November 1st of this year. No one from the fashion brand has yet to confirm this but Chanel shoppers at Bloomingdale’s have supposedly heard the same news.

Will this curb your Chanel addiction or will the price increase not affect your Chanel spending habits?

But it gave me time to reflect too that times are hard nowadays and so it’s a time to make smart choices. Does cheaper bags mean we’re getting our money’s worth? Or is image still worth-investing for when our income could barely make a purchase?

Karl Lagerfield has designed a collection of Chinese inspired bags for its Chanel Paris-Shanghai Chinese New Year Celebration.


There are more beautiful items featured on Bag Snob but this China Doll purse stands out because…well, who wouldn’t find this cute? The clutch is made of plexi and enamel. You’d make a splash carrying this around, it’s just the kind of bag people will talk about and compliment.

The Paris-Shanghai collection will be up on sale at all Chanel stores soon.

Chanel has always been the epitome of chic to me and these handbags do exude that. I think it’s the way gold is used in its designs. I like the styles, alright. I think they definitely stand out, so much so that, while there’s a certain flair or chicness to it, these bags also look like costume pieces to me. And that when you wear this with the rest of your wardrobe, it really does feel like dressing up in a fancy, fancy way.
